Kent has been helping clients achieve their financial goals since 1990 at RBC Wealth Management. His distinguished service to his clients has earned him recognition by RBC Wealth Management, financial firms and industry publications including Ticker Magazine. Kent was selected for the prestigeous Barrons Top 1000 advisors for 2013. He was the Rapid City Branch Director for 14 years and a speaker at industry strategy seminars. Previously, Kent was the City Finance Director for Rapid City and the Chief Accountant for the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Kent works with affluent families, businesses and non-profit organizations, implementing comprehensive wealth growth and protection strategies.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University of South Dakota and has done MBA studies at University of South Dakota. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, ICMA Member and holds the Series 7, 8 and 66 licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. Kent’s recognitions include achieving RBC Wealth Management’s Chairman’s Council, which includes the top 5 percent of financial consultants in the firm for 18 years, and achieving RBC Wealth Management’s President’s Council Member for three years. He received the Leadership Council Award for 9 years and leadership recognition from American Funds, Thornburg, Evergreen, PIMCO, MFS, Alliance, Jackson and AXA. Kent is a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Consulting Group.
Kent’s current and past service and leadership on numerous boards including the John Scully Foundation, Northern Plains Eye Foundation, Black Hills Workshop, Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, USD Alumni Association, United Way, and Rapid City Economic Development. Married to Peggy, they have one daughter, Kelsey. In his free time, Kent enjoys golf, travel, skiing, boating and watching tennis.

David has been assisting clients in the navigation of turbulent financial markets since 2000. Prior to serving as a Financial Advisor and Branch Director at RBC Wealth Management, he was a Financial Advisor and Branch Director at a global wealth management firm. He is also a member of the RBC Chairman's Council which is comprised of the top 5% of Financial Advisors in the firm. Previously, David was the second in command of the US Naval Academy, a Naval Aviator and a Mine Countermeasures Tactics Instructor. He works with affluent families, businesses and non-profit organizations implementing comprehensive wealth growth and protection strategies. He has been an early adaptor of financial risk mitigation techniques including account aggregation, probability analysis, structured investments and non-correlated alternative investment inclusion in client portfolios.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy. His recognitions include achieving top recognition at a national wealth management firm and earning the Draper L. Kauffman Leadership Award at the U.S. Naval Academy. He holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 31 and 66 licenses and life and health insurance licenses. David is a member of the top-rated South Dakota Investment Council which manages approximately $12 billion in assets on behalf of approximately 77,000 current and past public employees. He is Past-President of the Rapid City Economic Development Partnership and Past-President of Working Against Violence, Inc. David received RBC's 2011 National Community Service Award in recognition of both local and global service and philanthropic efforts.
David and his wife Carla have six children: Phil, Catie, Courtney, John, Cydney and Camryn. In his free time, he enjoys flying, kitesurfing, hiking and mountain biking with his family.

Adam has worked in the financial services industry since 2004. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Black Hills State University with a minor in computer applications systems management, while achieving the dean's list. Adam partnered with David upon joining a global wealth management firm in 2005. In 2008, after completing the extensive curriculum required, Adam earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Adam also holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses and life and health insurance licenses. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Adam worked at a regional bank's commercial loan department. A strong believer in community service, Adam served as Habitat for Humanity Board President and on the International Students Inc. Advisory Council.
Adam develops customized wealth management plans and fixed income solutions based upon clients' objectives, resources and income needs. Adam also uses his banking experience to manage the liability side of our client's balance sheet, minimizing interest costs and maximizing cash flow. He also focuses on family financial dynamics, working with affluent families to create responsible management of inherited wealth. With proper information and education, an inheritance can move from being a one time financial bonanza to a lasting legacy that will provide opportunity for several generations into the future.
Married to Lauren, they have five children: Eliza, Nolan, Emmett, Solomon and Tobias. In his free time, Adam enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking and spending time with his family.
Branch Service Mgr/Sr. Reg. Client Associate
Saundra has worked as a service award winning Registered Client Associate for a global wealth management firm since 1999. In 2011, while serving as the Branch Service Manager for the Rapid City Office and a Senior Registered Client Associate, Saundra won the RBC Award of Excellence. Previously, she was an investigative paralegal for the senior partner of a regional law firm. Saundra's focus is on exceptional client service. She is responsible for daily administrative functions that directly enhance our clients' investment experience. Saundra assists clients with online account access, personal filing systems and bill automation. Her legal background helps ensure accounts are properly titled throughout life events so that client tax minimization and wealth transfer are optimized. She has a tremendous work ethic and sincerely wants our clients' experience to be exceptional.
Saundra holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses and life and health insurance licences. Married to Barry, they have two children, Kelli and Leigh. In her free time, Saundra enjoys riding her Harley Davidson, landscaping, interior design and skiing.

Michelle has worked in the financial services industry at a national wealth management firm since 1994 and with the Brugger Hillard Group at RBC Wealth Management since 2011. She graduated from National American University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Michelle holds her Series 7 license.
Michelle’s focus is on exceptional client service by providing administrative support and performing daily administrative functions such as new account opening, fund transfer, client education, online account access and retirement plan support. With more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry, she has a wealth of knowledge and takes pride in providing personalized service and detail-oriented solutions for clients.
Married to Paul, they have four grandchildren. In her free time, Michelle enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, traveling and spending time with her family. Recently, she completed her first sprint triathlon.
Micah joined the Brugger Hillard Group in June of 2013 He graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts which was ranked a top 20 business program in the nation by Bloomberg Business Week. While at Bentley, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance and achieved both president's and dean's list. Realizing that our financial system is globally interconnected, Micah also studied abroad in Italy. In addition to his academic success, Micah was a member of the Falcons, Bentley’s division-one ice hockey team.
Micah holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses. He has developed a graphical display of retirement cash flow that was refined by RBC Wealth Management’s retirement planning division and is used on a daily basis by the Brugger Hillard Group. Micah provides an excellent experience for clients by conducting investment research, executing trades, developing customized wealth management plans, preparing client portfolio review documents and conducting ongoing portfolio risk analysis.
Micah enjoys hiking, golf, hockey, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
