Bob’s main area of expertise within our team is providing investment consulting services to both institutional and high-net-worth individuals. This includes customizing investment policies and asset allocations around clients’ goals and objectives as well as designing strategies to implement the plans. In addition, he focuses on the equity strategies for their team with careful consideration to risk management. Bob believes strongly in a holistic view of wealth management and his strategy is to add value through helping to educate clients in family wealth planning to enrich their lives and others. Teaching multi-generational family members to be good stewards of family wealth is a key to bob’s business.

Bob has been an advisor for the past 20 years. Previously he spent time at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and Greenville Capital Management. Bob currently hold Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations and has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary AIF) designation. Bob received a B.A. in history/international relations from Princeton University in 1979 and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Securities Industry Institute. He sits on a number of non-profit boards, including the Welfare Foundation, Environmental Committee of the Brandywine Conservancy, and the Quebec Labrador Foundation.

Bob lives in Greenville, Delaware, with his wife Martha, and two sons, Hunter and Ross. His hobbies center around the outdoors — fly-fishing, squash, adventure travel, and golf.

Mark Cannon

Mark’s strength is helping clients by identifying their advisory needs, transaction and investments by creating solutions that enable clients to meet their financial goals. He complements Bob by focusing on fixed income investments, alternative investment strategies and designing customized portfolios for high net worth individuals and families. Mark also provides corporate and executive services to privately and publicly held companies. He adds value to each relationship by listening to each client and designing, executing and maintaining a long-term investment plan customized to match each client’s investment objectives.

Mark has been an advisor for the past twenty years with the majority of time at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown after spending his early years with Butcher & Singer. Mark has also taken on the role of Branch Director for the Wilmington Branch of RBC.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the Security Industry Institute Program at the Wharton School. He works extensively in the community and is either still serving or has served on the following boards: Exceptional Care for Children, The American Heart Association of New Castle County, Hercules Country Club, The Central YMCA and the Early Stage East Venture Fair. Mark has also coached companies for the Mid-Atlantic Venture Fair and the Investors Choice East Conference.

Mark and wife, Patricia, have three children, Shay, Garrett, and Chad. Mark is very active in their lives coaching football, baseball, basketball and lacrosse. In his free time he enjoys exercising, gardening and spending time outdoors.

Barbara Flory
Senior Registered Client Associate

Barbara is responsible for all administrative functions, and her specialty is client service and support. She manages the varied transactions needed for our high-net-worth clients.

Barbara has over 30 years of continuous experience in the financial services industry. Barbara currently holds Series 7, 63 and 66 registrations.

When not helping our clients, Barbara spends as much time as she can with her family and especially her granddaughter, Samantha Marie.
