Mr. Cooper is a Senior Vice President - Financial Advisor and member of the RBC Wealth Management Consulting Group. He has 46 years experience as a financial advisor, 29 of those years in management. As a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Cooper holds BBA and MBA degrees. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 1989, his investment career included serving as a financial consultant and office manager for Merrill Lynch, and office manager for the former Austin offices of Rotan Mosle and Kidder Peabody. Mr. Cooper is a member of Investment Management Consultants Association.
 
Mr. Cooper’s extensive community responsibilities include past president and board member of the Austin Children’s Museum, trustee of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, chairman of the finance committee for the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, past president and member of the Executive Committee and board member of the Capital Area Council Boy Scouts, board member of the Austin Symphony Orchestra, member of the Admiral’s Club, King Brio XXXI and Lord Chancellor XXVIII of the Knights of the Symphony, member of the Town and Gown of Austin and the University of Texas, and board member and past president for the Headliners Club of Austin. He is a recipient of the honorary awards from the Boy Scouts, Silver Antelope and Silver Beaver. In 1988 he was awarded a Doctor of Humane letters (Honoris Causa) from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest.

Jolynn Free

Jolynn Free is an Investment Advisor Representative, First Vice President, and Member of the Consulting Group with Wealth Management in Austin, Texas. Before joining the firm in 1989, she began her investment career in 1980, serving in the former Austin offices of Rotan Mosle and Kidder Peabody. She holds BFA and MFA degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
 
Jolynn’s community involvement has encompassed service on numerous boards, foundations, and capital campaign committees including the Laguna Gloria Art Museum, Huntington Gallery, Conspirare, Pathfinders, and All Saints' Church. She has served as founder and chair of the RBC Dain Rauscher Association of Women Brokers, and chaired the American Institute for Learning, the Music Umbrella, the Seton Forum, Safeplace Foundation, the Quin Foundation of the Diocese of Texas, the Foundation for Religious Studies at the University of Texas, Seton Cove, and served as Senior Warden at All Saints' Church. Currently, Jolynn is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Expanding Horizons, a Community Advisor for the Junior League of Austin, Chair of the Church Corporation of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, Co-chair of the One Church Campaign, and Treasurer of the Board of Governors of the Austin Community Foundation. She has also served as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Settlement Club Home, the New Texas Festival, Austin Children’s Shelter, and Lifeworks, and has served as Special Guest Lecturer and Convener of a Senior Colloquy of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest.

Edward Moody

Edward Moody is a Financial Advisor with The Cooper-Free Group at RBC Wealth Management. Edward began his career shortly after receiving his BBA in Finance from The Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin (2002).

Currently Edward serves on the advisory board (golf committee chairman) for the Neighborhood Longhorns Program.  He is a member and past chairman of the board of Catalyst 8, the young professional’s group supporting the Long Center.  In 2006 he volunteered as boys basketball coach at the West Austin Youth Association.

In 2011 Edward was named a finalist for the prestigious Austin Under 40 Awards.  He was accepted into and graduated from the 2008 Leadership Austin Emerge program.

Edward and his wife, Acia, live in central Austin with their young boys, Eli and Ryder.




Lisa Maas

Lisa Maas is a Senior Financial Associate with RBC Wealth Management in Austin, Texas.  She has 26 years experience in the industry, 21 of those here at RBC with the Cooper-Free Group.  In 2006, Lisa was awarded the RBC Financial Group's Award of Excellence.  She attended the University of Texas at Austin and is Series 7 and 63 licensed.

Currently, Lisa serves on the Concessions Committee of the Lady Panther Dance Booster Club.  She is past treasurer of the Energy Dance Company Booster Club, supporting Lonestar Dance, and past treasurer of the Connally High School Choir Booster Club.


Lisa and her husband, Mike, have two married adult kids, Chris (April) and Chelsea (Anthony), and live in Pflugerville with their only remaining child at home, Marissa.




Abigail Sands

Abigail joined the Cooper-Free Group in December of 2010 as a client associate. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a BA in Government and a minor in Business Foundations. She is Series 7 and 66 licensed.


Abigail is an active member of the Texas Exes and the Chi Omega Alumni Association.  In her free time, Abigail enjoys running and watching Longhorn football.


Abigail currently lives in central Austin and attends Austin Stone Community Church.
