I have more than 30 years in the financial services industry and have been registered since 1979, as well as a portfolio manager since 1990. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In addition, in July 2010 I earned RBC Wealth Management’s internal, professional designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM). By attaining the AWM designation, I have demonstrated advanced knowledge of the firm’s wealth management process, concentrating in the areas of business and retirement planning, insurance solutions, charitable giving, advanced investment strategies, and estate and trust planning strategies. In my free time, I am a board member of CPY Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a volunteer coach on the Willamette High School tennis team. I am also past chairman of Goodwill of Lane County and a past board member of Kidsports.
