Leadership
My business model is built upon the teachings of coaching legend John Wooden and his Pyramid of Success. These principles can be used in sports, business, and life as a foundation for doing what's right. Coach Wooden said,"success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best that you are capable of becoming."
There are fifteen blocks that make up this great pyramid and it is held together by faith and patience. Each block was strategically placed in order until the structure was complete and I have listed them below. By the time you finish reading this, it will be clear what makes me a leader, it will be clear why this is a great team to be on!
Industriousness...the first cornerstone in the foundation because nothing worthwhile comes without work.
Friendship...respect and camaraderie helps make a formidable organization
Loyalty...a leader who has loyalty is the leader whose team I wish to be a part of
Cooperation...working together in all ways to accomplish a common goal
Enthusiasm...the second cornerstone, hard work done with enthusiasm becomes an unimaginable force
Self-Control...most essential for discipline and mastery of emotions
Alertness...being alert allows you to "see it coming", always learn from those around you
Initiative...have the courage to make decisions and take action, simple as that
Intentness...ability to resist temptation and stay the course, concentrate on your objective with resolve
Condition...you must have mental and moral condition
Skill...center of the pyramid, you have to know what you are doing and be able to do it properly
Team Spirit...eagerness to sacrifice personal interest or glory for the welfare of all
Poise...be true to oneself, not rattled, unbalanced, regardless of circumstances or situation
Confidence...self-belief, the knowledge that your preparation is complete
Competitive Greatness...the opportunity to be at your best when your best is required
